The Foundation for Portland Public Schools is collaborating with the City of Portland Office of Sustainability, Saltwater Classroom, the United Way (Brick and Beam Society), Portland Parks Conservancy and several Parent Teacher Organizations to coordinate trash pickup around their schools and surrounding neighborhoods from 9 to 11am.
Bring gloves if you have them; otherwise, bags, gloves, and litter-picking tools are available for you to clean up your corner of Portland. Clean a single street, clean several. Walk for 20 minutes or all two hours. Every effort helps make our neighborhoods free of unsightly trash.
