This year, we will be presenting Distinguished Alumni Awards to graduates from Portland’s high schools. The 2024 Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes Casco Bay, Deering, and Portland High School graduates who have notably distinguished themselves in some aspect of their lives.

Last year, 73 grants totaling over $63,000 were awarded across the district. Typical teacher grants range from $500 to $1,000. Teachers can make a big difference with small grants—last fall, the program impacted 12,000 student experiences across 16 schools.
